This Privacy Policy describes how Duskwing (“we,” “us,” “our”) collects, uses, and shares your personal information when you visit our website or make a purchase.

Information we collect. When you place an order, we collect your name, email address, shipping and billing addresses, phone number if provided, and order details.

Payments are processed securely by Shopify Payments, PayPal, and the other payment providers shown at checkout. We don’t receive or store your full card number.

When you sign up for restock alerts or marketing emails, we collect your email address. When you contact us, we collect the information you include in your message. When you leave a product review, we collect your name, review content, and any photos you submit.

When you browse our site, we and our service providers automatically collect information through cookies and similar technologies. This includes your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, the site that referred you, and how you interact with our site.

How we use your information. We use your information to:

  • process, fulfill, and deliver your orders;
  • handle returns, refunds, and warranty claims, and respond to your questions;
  • prevent fraud;
  • send marketing emails if you’ve opted in;
  • analyze and improve our website;
  • comply with legal obligations such as tax and accounting requirements.

How we share your information. We share personal information only as needed to operate our store:

  • Payment processors.
  • Fulfillment partners and shipping carriers, who receive your name, address, and order details to ship your order.
  • Our email service provider and product review provider.
  • Any analytics and advertising partners we use.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect our rights, or as part of a sale or reorganization of our business. We don’t share personal information with third parties for their own direct marketing purposes.

Advertising and analytics. We may use cookies and pixels from providers such as Google, Meta, and TikTok to measure site traffic and show you our ads on other websites. Under California and some other state laws, this may count as “selling” or “sharing” personal information or as “targeted advertising.” We don’t sell personal information for money.

You can opt out of advertising cookies through the cookie banner on our site, or by enabling Global Privacy Control (GPC) in your browser, which we honor. Some browsers send “Do Not Track” signals; because there’s no common standard for them, we respond to GPC rather than Do Not Track.

Marketing emails. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. We’ll still send transactional emails about your orders.

Your privacy rights. Depending on where you live, including California and other states with consumer privacy laws, you may have the right to:

  • know what personal information we’ve collected about you and get a copy of it;
  • correct inaccurate information or delete your information;

We’ll verify your identity by matching the information you provide against our records and respond within the time required by law. We won’t discriminate against you for exercising your rights. You may use an authorized agent with your written permission.

How long we keep information. We keep order records as long as needed for tax, accounting, and legal purposes, generally up to seven years. We keep marketing data until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Other information is deleted when it’s no longer needed.

Security. We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, and our platform and payment providers maintain industry-standard security. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Children. Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we’ll delete it.

Changes to this policy. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes are effective when posted, and the date at the top shows the latest revision.
